from Heytesbury, containing, with the township of
Ashton-Gifford, 347 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Salisbury,
rated in the king's books at £17. 15-> and in the patronage
of the Master and Fellows of Pembroke College,
Oxford.
