COLKERK, a parish in the hundred of LAUNDITCH,
county of NORFOLK, 2 miles (S.) from Fakenham, containing
358 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, with that of Stibbard annexed, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's
books at £10, and in the patronage of Lord J. Townsend.
The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
