CROSBY, a township in that part of the parish of
BOTTESFORD which is in the northern division of the
wapentake of MANLEY, parts of LINDSEY, county of
LINCOLN, 8l miles (N. W. by W.) from Glandford-
Bridge, containing 146 inhabitants. A school is partly
supported by charitable donations amounting to about
£2. 10. per annum, for the education of children belonging
to this and the adjoining township of Brumby and
Scunthorpe.
