CROSBY (LITTLE), a township in the parish of
SEPHTON, hundred of WEST-DERBY, county palatine of
LANCASTER, 7 miles (N. by W.) from Liverpool, containing
359 inhabitants. At Harkirk, in this township,
a number of Saxon and other ancient coins was discovered
in 1611.
