CULPHO, a parish in the hundred of CARLFORD, county of SUFFOLK, 3 miles (W. by N.) from Woodbridge, containing 55 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £5.8. !£., endowed with £200 private benefaction, £600 royal bounty, and £700 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of B. G. Dillingham, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Botolph.
