CURY, a parish in the hundred of KERRIER, county
of CORNWALL, 4 miles (S. S. E.) from Helston, containing
505 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
curacy, annexed to the vicarage of St. Breage, in the
archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese of Exeter, and
in the patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated
to St. Ninian. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan
Methodists. The English channel bounds this
parish on the west.
