DALLINGTON, a parish in the hundred of NOBOTTLEGROVE,
county of NORTHAMPTON, 1 mile(N.W.)
from Northampton, containing 369 inhabitants. The
living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of
Northampton, and diocese of Peterborough, rated in the
king's books at £6. 15. 8. Miss Wrighte was patroness
in 1823. The church, dedicated to St. Mary, has portions
in the early style of English architecture.
