DENHAM, a parish in the hundred of HOXNE,
county of SUFFOLK, 3 miles (E.) from Eye, containing
259 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, to
which the vicarage of Hoxne is annexed, in the archdeaconry
of Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in
the king's books at £5. 0. 10. T. Maynard, Esq. was
patron in 1794. The church is dedicated to St. John
the Baptist.
