DENTON, a parish in the hundred of SHAMWELL,
lathe of AYLESFORD, county of KENT. The population
is returned with the parish of Chalk. The church, which
was dedicated to St. Mary, has been long desecrated, and
the cemetery converted into a farm-yard.
