DISCOVE, a tything in the parish and hundred of
BRUTON, county of SOMERSET, 1 mile (S. E. by S.) from
Bruton, containing 43 inhabitants. At this place, called
in Domesday-book Dinescove, were discovered, in 1711,
some remains of a Roman tesselated pavement.
