DOVERDALE, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of HALFSHIRE, county of WORCESTER, 3 miles (N.W. by W.) from Droitwich, containing 60 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, rated in the king's books at £5. 3. 6., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty. The Rev. George Thomas was patron in 1807. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
