DUNKESWITH, a township in that part of the
parish of HAREWOOD which is in the upper division of
the wapentake of CLARO, West riding of the county of
YORK, 6 miles (W. by S.) from Wetherby, containing
257 inhabitants. It is in the Forest division of the
hbnour of Knaresborough, and within the jurisdiction
of the peculiar court thereof.
