DUNTISH, a tything in the parish and hundred of
BUCKLAND-NEWTON, Cerne sub-division of the county
of DORSET, 11 miles (N. by W.) from Dorchester, containing
101 inhabitants. There is a circular camp of
ten acres, in which arms and Roman coins have been
discovered.
