DUNTON, a parish in the hundred of COTTESLOE,
county of BUCKINGHAM, 5 miles (S.E. by E.) from Winslow,
containing 98 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry of Buckingham, and diocese of
Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £9. 9. 7 Earl
Spencer was patron in 1817. The church is dedicated
to St. Martin.
