EASINGTON, a parish in the hundred of EWELME,
county of OXFORD, 4 miles (S. W. by S.) from Tetsworth,
containing 25 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford,
rated in the king's books at £4. 12. 6., and in the patronage
of the Bishop of Lincoln. The church is dedicated
to St. Peter.
