EASTON, a parish in the hundred of FOREHOE, county
of NORFOLK, 6 miles (W.N.W.) from Norwich, containing
165 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage,
in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £711.10., endowed
with £ 200 private benefaction, and £ 200 royal bounty.
E. R. Fellowes, Esq. was "patron in 1809. The church
is dedicated to St. Peter. There is a place of worship
for Baptists at Easton Row.
