EASTON, a parish in the hundred of WILLYBROOK,
county of NORTHAMPTON, 2 miles (S.W. by S.) from
Stamford, containing 689 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Northampton, and diocese
of Peterborough, rated in the king's books at
£19. 8. 9. The Marquis of Exeter was patron in 1805.
The church is dedicated to All Saints. Here is a free
school endowed with about £50 per annum.
