EDINGTON, a chapelry in the parish of MOORUNCH,
hundred of WHITLEY, county of SOMERSET,

inhabitants. Near the chape"! is a medicinal spring
impregnated with sulphur and steel, said to be efficacious
in scorbutic disorders. A tesselated pavement and
other Roman antiquities have been discovered.
