EGLOSKERRY, a parish in the northern division of the hundred of EAST, county of CORNWALL, 3miles (W.N.W.) from Launceston, containing 436 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese of Exeter, endowed with £200 royal bounty, and £800 parliamentary grant, and-in the patronage of F. H. Rudd, Esq. and others, as Trustees. The church is .dedicated to St. Petrock. There is a place of worship at Tregeare for Wesleyan Methodists.
