The living is a discharged vicarage, annexed to the vicarage of Latton, in the archdeaconry of Wilts, and diocese of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at £11. 14. 4., and in the patronage of the Earl of St. German's. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. The Thames and Severn canal passes through the parish.
