ELSING, a parish in the hundred of EYNSFORD,
county of NORFOLK, 5 miles (N. E. by E.) from East
Dereham, containing 374 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and
diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £5.11.8.
The Rev. R. Browne was patron in 1820.
