ESHOTT, a township in .that part of the parish of
FELTON which is in the eastern division of MORPETH
ward, county of NORTHUMBERLAND, 9 miles (N.) from
Morpeth, containing 114 inhabitants. There is a seam
of coal in this township, but the colliery was aban-
doned many years since.
