EYKE, a parish in the hundred of LOES, county of SUFFOLK, 3 miles (E. N. E.) from Woodbridge, containing 396 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at & 15, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty. The Rev. Jacob Chilton was patron in 1776. The church is dedicated to All Saints.
