FITTLETON, a parish in the hundred of ELSTUB-and-EVERLEY,
county of WILTS, 8 miles (W. by S.)
from Ludgershall, containing, with the tything of
Hacklestone, 298 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Salisbury, rated in
the king's books at £ 23, and in the patronage of the
President and Fellows of Magdalene College, Oxford.
The church is dedicated to All Saints.
