FORD, a hamlet in the parish of NORTH-WINGFIELD,
hundred of SCARSDALE, county of DERBY. The
population is returned with the parish. The celebrated
non conformist divine, William Bagshaw, called the
Apostle of the Peak, was a native of this place.
