FRANKTON, a parish in the Rugby division of
the hundred of KNIGHTLOW, county of WARWICK, 4
miles (w. by S.) from Dunchurch, containing 253 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of
Coventry, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, rated
in the king's books at £5. 12.1. The Rev. John Biddulph
was patron in 1805. The church isdedicated to
St. Nicholas.
