FRETTENHAM, a parish in the hundred of
TAVERHAM, county of NORFOLK, 2 miles (S. W.byW.)
from Coltishall, containing 248 inhabitants. The living
is a rectory with that of Stanninghall, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books
at £10. Lord Suffield was patron in 1807. The church
is dedicated to St. Peter.
