FRING, a parish in the hundred of SMITHDON,
county of NORFOLK, 8 miles (S.W. by W,) from Burnham-
Westgate, containing 139 inhabitants. The living
is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk,
and diocese of Norwich, endowed with £200 private
benefaction, £200 royal bounty, and £500 parliamentary
grant, and in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter
of Norwich. The church is dedicated to All Saints.
