GARBOLDISHAM, a parish in the hundred of
GUILT-CROSS, county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (S. S. E.)
from East Harling, containing 700 inhabitants. The
living is a rectory consolidated with that of All Saints,
in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £ 19. 16. 0. C. M. Montgomery,
Esq. was patron in 1815. The church is dedicated
to St. John the Baptist.
