GAULBY, a parish in the hundred of GARTREE,
county of LEICESTER, 8 miles (E. S. E.) from Leicester,
containing, with the chapelry of Frisby, 114 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Leicester,
and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at
£18. 2. 6., and in the patronage of G. A. Legh-Keck,
Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
