GEDNEY-HILL; a chapelry in the parish of GEDNEY, wapentake of ELLOE, parts of HOLLAND, county of LINCOLN, 6 miles (E.) from Crowland, containing 344 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, and in the patronage of certain Feoffees of land bequeathed for charitable uses. The chapel is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. Several coins of Antoninus have been found here.
