HABROUGH, a parish in;the eastern division of
the wapentake of YARBOROUGH, parts of LINDSEY,
county of LINCOLN, 10 miles (w.N.W.) from Great
Grimsby, containing 286 inhabitants. The living is. a
discharged vicarage, united in 1740 to that of Killingholme,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated,
in the king's books at £8, endowed with £400 royal
bounty, and in the patronage of -> Pelham, Esq. The
church is dedicated to St. Margaret. There is a place
of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
