HANWORTH (COLD), a parish in the eastern
division of the wapentake of ASLACOE, parts of LINDSEY,
county of LINCOLN, 8 miles (N. N. E.) from
Lincoln, containing 57 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Stow,: and
diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £5. 10.,
and in the patronage of Robert Cracroft, Esq. The
church, dedicated to All Saints, was formerly surrounded
by buildings, as is evident from the number of foundations
remaining.
