HARBURY, otherwise HARBERBURY, a parish in, the Kenilworth division of the hundred of KNIGHTLOW, county of WARWICK, 3 miles (W. S. W,) from Southam, containing 1045 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Coventry, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, rated in the king's books at £5. Miss Newsham was patroness in 1806. The church is dedicated to All Saints. Therein a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists. Thomas Wagstaffe, in 1611, founded a school for teaching all the children of the parish, and endowed it with £20 a year, which is paid to the master, who resides in a house appropriated to his use.
