HARGRAVE, a parish in the hundred of THINGOE,
county of SUFFOLK, 6 miles (W. S. W.) from Bury-
St. Edmund's, containing, with Southwell Park 360 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry
of Sudbury, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's
books at £4. 11. 8. The Rev. John White was patron
in 1819.
