HARLINGTON, a parish in the hundred of ELTHORNE, county of MIDDLESEX, 4 miles (N. W. by W.) from Hounslow, containing 4? 2 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Middlesex, and diocese of London, rated in the king's books at £24. The Rev. E. Davison was patron in 1822. The church, dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul, has a Norman doorway, and a square embattled tower at the west end. There is a place of worship for Baptists. Harlington, otherwise Arlington, gave the titles of baron and earl to the family of Bennet.
