HAWRIDGE, a parish in the hundred of COTTESLOE,
county of BUCKINGHAM, 3 miles (N. by W.) from
Chesham, containing 208 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Buckingham,
and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at
£8. 10.5.. Sandby, Esq. was patron in 1813.
The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
