HEATH, a parish in the hundred of SCARSDALE,
county of DERBY, 5 miles (S.B. byE.) from Chesterfield,
containing 411 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage,
in the archdeaconry of Derby, and diocese of
Lichfield and Coventry, rated in the king's books at
£4. 18. 9., and in the patronage of the Duke of Devonshire.
The church, dedicated to All Saints, has portions
in the Norman style of architecture.
