HELLESDON, a parish partly within the city of
NORWICH, and partly in the hundred of TAVERHAM,
county of NORFOLK, 2 miles (N.W. by w.) from Norwich,
containing 293 inhabitants. The living is a rectory
with that of Drayton, in the archdeaconry and
diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £ 12
The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
