HEMBLINGTON, a parish in the hundred of
WALSHAM, county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (W. N. W.)
from Acle, containing 255 inhabitants. The living is a
perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of
Norwich, endowed with £1200 royal bounty, and £200
parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of the Dean
and Chapter of Norwich. The church is dedicated to
All Saints.
