HERTINGFORDBURY, a parish in the hundred
and county of HERTFORD, 1 mile (W. S. W.) from
Hertford, containing 827 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Huntingdon, and diocese
of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £ 12. 15.2.,
and in the patronage of the King, as Duke of Lancaster.
The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
