hundred of FREEBRIDGE, county of NORFOLK, 4 miles
(E.) from Castle-Rising, containing 252 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese
of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £13. 6. 8.,
and in the patronage of Sir W. B. Folkes, Bart. The
church, dedicated to St. Mary, has a Norman door of
great beauty.
