hamlet of Shell, 482 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of
Worcester, rated in the king's books at £8.6. 10., and
in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Worcester.
The church is dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene.
