of ROMNEY-MARSH, though locally in the hundred of
Langport, lathe of SHEPWAY, county of KENT, 1 mile
(N. W. by W.) from New Romney, containing 48 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Canterbury, rated in the king's books at
£10. 1. Of., and in the patronage of the Crown. The
chapel has been demolished.
