KEDDINGTON, a parish in the Wold division of the hundred of LOUTH-ESKE, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 1 mile (N. E.) from Louth, containing 179 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £3. 6. 8., endowed with £400 royal bounty. Sir W. E. Welby, Bart, was patron in 1816. The church is dedicated to St. Margaret.
