county of WILTS, 7 miles (N.E. by N.) from Malmesbury,
containing, with the tythings of Ewen and Wick,
435 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry
of Wilts, and diocese of Salisbury, rated in
the king's books at £11. 4. 7, and in the patronage
of C. W. Cox, Esq. The church is dedicated to All
Saints.
