county of LEICESTER, 3 miles (E.N.E.) from Lutterworth,
containing, with the hamlet of Cotes de Val,
505 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry
of Leicester, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in
the king's books at £20. 16. 3. Lord Willoughby de
Broke was patron in 1811. The church is dedicated to
All Saints.
