the wapentakeof WALSHCROFT,parts of LINDSEY, county
of LINCOLN, 5 miles (N. W.) from Market-Raisen, containing
84 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the
archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's
books at £ 5. The University of Cambridge presented in
1811. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
