The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford, rated in the king's books at £17". 11. 8,, and in the patronage of the Rev. 3. C. Lockwood. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew. The river Evenlode bounds the parish on the -west, and separates it from Gloucestershire.
