KITTISFORD, a parish in the hundred of MILVERTON,
county of SOMERSET, 4 miles (W. by N.) from
Wellington, containing 175 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Taunton, and diocese of
Bath and Wells, rated in the king's books at £11.10.5.
The. Rev. T. Sweet Escott was patron in 1824. The
church is dedicated to St. Nicholas.
